David Rogers began his coaching experience in 1988 as the Team Manager/Student-Assistant Coach of the Metro High School Girl’s Basketball Team in Chicago, Illinois. David was a high school varsity basketball and baseball player. After high school he went on to play on a men’s championship basketball team for an amateur league at Illinois Institute of Technology where he attended college.

 

David has been coaching for New Birth’s Athletic Ministry since 2005 as a 10U, 12U and 14U coach. He currently serves as the General Manager of New Birth’s Athletic Ministry Basketball Program. He is the Co-Founder and active youth recreational league director of the Kingdom Basketball Association started in the 2006-2007 season.

 

David Rogers is a husband, father of four, minister of the Gospel and a dedicated member of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. David loves God, his family, and is committed to teaching youth the value of God’s Word as it applies to everyday life and athletics.
